Treatments - Oral Surgery
A comfortable alternative to hospital treatment.
Patients who require a difficult extraction - perhaps a wisdom tooth, or removal of a root fragment, commonly find themsleves referred for a hospital procedure. There is no clinical reason why these procedures cannot be carried out in the comfort of familiar surroundings at the Dental Prcatice.
At St Saviourgate, Lucy Frost, BDS FDS RCPS (GDC Number 6642), can treat both patients of the Practice and those referred in by other Practices. She is able to carry out oral surgical procedures such as removal of wisdom teeth, buried roots, apicectomies.
Lucy is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS), the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).
Lucy has taken a particular interest in the skills required to assist nervous patients, or those with difficult dental histories.
She is also trained in both sedation and acupuncture.
